I've been playing golf, left-handed, since age9 and have never had a passion for any other sport besides golf. This passion has made me successful, not only in the business aspect, but also the competitive side of the sport. My accomplishments include playing in the 1998 USGA National Public Links Championship, Top 10 Finish in the 1997 and 2000 Kentucky State Amateur, Top 5 finish in the 2004 Kentucky Open, Winner of the 2004 Assistant Championship, Top 25 in the 2004 National Assistant Championship, 2004 Assistant Player of the year, 4 time runner-up Assistant Player of the year, 2008 Assistant Match Play Champion, and Winner of 2Collegiate Tournaments.
I have served as Secretary and Vice-President of the Assistant Board for the Kentucky Section of the PGA.
My business side of the golf business started in June of 1998 where I started work at Woodhaven Country Club in Louisville. I worked my way up the ladder and not only became the Assistant Golf Professional for a season, but also the Non-member Head Golf Professional. In March of 2001, I started work at Harmony Landing Country Club under the guidance of PGA Master Professional Mike Thomas as First Assistant Golf Professional.
